True storytelling - The Outsider

Have you ever felt like the odd one out? Maybe you found yourself in an unfamiliar country, with little understanding of the language and customs. Perhaps you’ve felt like the outsider in your own family. Sometimes being different from those around us is a conscious choice; we can decide to dress or act or think in a way that marks us out. Often we try to fit in, but find our efforts fall flat. Perhaps you once made someone else feel like an outcast and have learned from your mistakes – or maybe you welcomed someone new into your circle.

We want to hear your stories on the theme of The Outsider. Join Spark at Upstairs at The Ritzy in Brixton for a night of true storytelling. Storytellers can sign up on the night.

Doors open at 7.30pm and stories start at 8pm.
Entry is £5 on the door or in advance.
