True storytelling - Spark Open Mic ‘Breathe’ – Special Event

This is an addition to our usual monthly events. We are spending the afternoon and evening at the Old Church in Stoke Newington running a workshop then this open storytelling evening. Stories will be on the theme of Breathe.’ Here are a few questions to get you thinking about your own stories on the theme. Have you ever struggled to get your breath? Was it an allergy or marriage proposal that took your breath away? Or have you witnessed someone take their last breath or very first breath. What was your experience and what surprised you? Have you ever felt so scared all you could hear was your breathing? At this night you can expect to hear true personal stories told by fellow Londoners. Stories can be up to five minutes long and those who are keen can sign up when they arrive. Others are welcome to sit back and listen and there will be a bar to keep us all going. Please come and join us for this one off event.
